Ideal Optical is located at the corner of 9th Avenue and Creighton Blvd next to Richard Bryson Jeweler in the Belvedere Park Plaza. Fred Putman originally opened Ideal Optical in 1974 in Cordova Mall and moved to our current 9th Avenue location in 1988. With Fred Putman enjoying his retirement, the store is now run by his son Terry Putman, a 3rd generation optician with 35 years of experience in the optical industry.

We are open Monday through Friday from 10am - 5:30pm.

In addition to Rx eyeglasses we also carry a large collection of non-Rx sunglasses. We also offer frame repair service and a full line of optical accessories.
